Humans often forget that we share this planet with other wonderful and often awe inspiring creatures. This CD shares some of the sounds these creatures make in some of North America’s most noteworthy landmarks such as Yosemite and the Florida everglades. Renown and award winning virtuoso hammered dulcimer performer/composer Dr. Charlene Berry and producer/director James D. Taylor Jr. have teamed up again to bring improvisational hammered dulcimer music with nature sounds to help us remember that not only do we share this planet but to remind us that we are governed by nature’s clock and not the one on the wall or our wrists. The United States is rich in awe inspiring landmarks each with its own unique and beautiful scenery and creatures that call it their home. If you are so lucky to visit these locations in person, please remember that we are visiting their homes and should respect just that. This CD allows us to visit their homes without intruding in their serene and peaceful existence. We hope that you enjoy your journey. |
