James D. Taylor Jr. draws on his skills as a well-published poet and author, classically trained musician and composer in the recital of poetry from several tribes of North America accompanied by drum and flute with sounds of nature. Read from a book of rare poetry published in 1909, these have not been heard in a century.

Whether on a quite stroll through a Japanese garden, sheltering from a gentle rain on a Chinese hillside, relishing the exotic sounds of an Indonesian rain forest or the sound of blowing desert sands, this CD will most certainly help to relive the stress many of us experience often brought on through a hectic life. There are no synthesized or electronic sounds here; all are natural sounds with real instruments. James shines here with his multi-instrument playing/composing abilities.
