Relax and enjoy the sounds of nature accompanied by improvisational classical instrumental compositions. All natural sounds where recorded in various locations around the Lower Peninsular of the State of Michigan. Most of the bird sounds were recorded in Island Lake Recreation area and Kensington Metro Park.

James D. Taylor Jr. draws on his skills as a well-published poet and author, classically trained musician and composer in the recital of poetry from several tribes of North America accompanied by drum and flute with sounds of nature. Read from a book of rare poetry published in 1909, these have not been heard in a century.

Whether on a quite stroll through a Japanese garden, sheltering from a gentle rain on a Chinese hillside, relishing the exotic sounds of an Indonesian rain forest or the sound of blowing desert sands, this CD will most certainly help to relive the stress many of us experience often brought on through a hectic life. There are no synthesized or electronic sounds here; all are natural sounds with real instruments.

Taylor Jr. on meticulously sampled analog synthesizers taking the listener on a sonic voyage to our solar systems largest planet to visit each of its eight inner moons.

Renown and award winning virtuoso hammered dulcimer performer/composer Dr. Charlene Berry and producer/director James D. Taylor Jr. have teamed up again to bring improvisational hammered dulcimer music with nature sounds from some of North America’s most noteworthy landmarks.
